Blessings of Ramadan
I have a hadith which is quite long so i will post half right now and the other half later, but everytime i read it, i want to cry since its is so powerful and moving:
Ibn abbas ( may allah be pleased with him) reported:
Allah commands a caller from the heavens to call out three times on every one of the nights of Ramadan, " Is there anyone begging of me that i may grant him his desire?" " Is there anyone repenting to me that i may turn in mercy to him?" " Is there anyone begging my forgiveness that i may forgive him?" " Who is there who shall give a loan to one whose wealth does not diminish, and the one who pays back duly without any deductions?
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said further:
"Everyday at the time of iftar, Allah sets free one thousand such souls from the fire of hell as had previously been found deserving hell. On the last night, he sets free as many more as had been set free through out the month. On the night of Lailut ul Qadr, Allah commands Gabriel to descend to the earth with a large group of angels. Gabriel then sends out the angels in all directons to offer salutations to anybody, whom they find standing in prayer or sitting, performing salat or celebrating the praise of Allah. they shake hands with them and say Ameen to all their prayers until dawn. "
