lol expire dates are just a guide - to be heeded depending on your mood. Like those silly speed limits and stop signs.....

wasif, you're mos def right about the vette interior, especially the goofy steering wheel....looks like they just used the cavalier steering wheel. and hi79, the expire date depends on your assetts.

love it how you guys amalgamate cars and women!! Btw what do you boys consider the sell-by-date/ expiration to be?

slightly older than what? are we talking slightly older than Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen or Slightly older than the Golden Girls?

Anyway, better late than never, the Beamer is the all around best sports-luxury car made to date. Doesnt top everything, but does A LOT of things with EXCELLENCE. I'd love a Z06 but I am kinda full up on 2 seaters right now. Maybe in a couple years when they work out their kinks. Also, have you all seen the interior, for that kind of money, they should at least make it look better than an 82 Camaro...... still looks like a damn chevy (feels like a Viper eater - so I hear).

Ok guys and gals, lets not fight.
My blog was for those 3 cars, becasue of their price range.

All mercs are not girly, I would not mind a Sl 65 AMG myself but I cant afford it yet .

As for the corvette C6, I have test driven it and yeah its got the kick and is a decent bang for the buck.

As for the "superfulour amenities" well they matter to not only gals but guys as well. My friend who is a male, wants plush tan leather interior with the performance. Yaar his occasional Hot dates need to impressed in the mix as well !!!

Soooo, like I said in my opinion, staying within the price range, and keeping the performance, amenities and heritage of autmobile maker in mind, the M3 would be the best logical choice.

I love my M3, it has luxury, the HK sound the plush leather with the Sturdy BMW handling and fly by wire sports engine at the heart !!

oi oi oi!!! whats with the sexist remarks???????? its ok for me to say that the slk is typically seen as a housewifes car (that's a statistic where I live), but not all mercs are for women, cls; definately not a girly car!! just as m3's are not just for testosterone!!! I could probably drive all you guys under the table and give u boys a run for your money!!!

throw the elise out the window....just forget about it. if your buddy is a female, stick with the mercedes. if it's a dude, get the beemer. it's that simple. whenever i see a dude in an slk, it's like seeing a fruit in a beetle. the slk is petite and cute, not manly and powerful.

You must be in covette heaven tanveer for you to be seeing them all the time. fyi, i'm talking about the C6 corvette, not the C5's. Yeah, they're American tanveer. You're definitely right about that. Enough said. For the best bang for your buck, you can't go wrong with the vette, but then again, that's what personal opinion is all about. i agree with you that the elise is an ugly piece of wool and that mercedes doesn't know how to make performance automobiles, but people aren't only interested in horsepower and torque. people want luxury. people want the gay amenities that you'll never needfully use in your life. people want class. and with mercedes comes class. so depending on what you want, there's a car for you. bottom line, the C6 Z06 beats all the cars you're talking about in terms of finesse and power. if you're willing to drop 60 g's on a porsche, my opinion would be to drop 10 or 15 more on a Z06 and get a true sports car that can compete with the best.

i'd go with the m3, but if you're gonna spend that many greens, why not step outside the box and get a real sports cars.....corvette. everybody has the beemers and merkarydez, but you don't see many of the new vettes on the road. i'm telling you, it's hot...i speak from experience.

I have owned a m3 and driven the elise....there no doubt about it..the elise is a monster car in handling fun etc....but for a daily driver it a pos..you feel every bump in the road..another note i am close to 6 foot and i felt really uncomfortable driving in it..

Not sure what part of the country your friend is from... But I assume this is not a primary car? If he has something else to drive daily, then I would opt for the Elise. It is a true handling beast, with a toyota powerplant and gearbox. I'd like to buy one and turbo it someday.

what does your friend want in a car? if he wants speed, then it would be the M3. if he wants handling, then the elise is the best, although it's NOT a daily driver... it's more for weekend racing than anything else. the merc is the choice if he wants a drop-top... it's not anywhere near as hardcore a performance car as the M3 and elise... i personally would go with the merc if i were to drive the car everyday.
