Bosnia Internet sites

Hello,
Finally I was able to find how to add a journal here :) And I just want to be able to find good internet sites, and I've found one site here, which is not so satisfactory, and I just ask you to add here some additional sites about Bosnia.

to be more precise and formal:
DUKE (Arm. Naharar; Fr. Duc, Ger. Herzog, Ir. Diuc; Ital. Doge, Duca; Lat. Dux; Port. Duque; Bosn. Herceg; Sp. Duque) The highest grade of nobility, and sometimes a sovereign title. Most of the above-mentioned terms derive from the Latin "Dux", meaning a leader or commander, especially in a military sense, ie. a general or warlord. Warlord is the exact equivalent of the Dark Ages usage from which the term evolved into an hereditary caste of nobility: "Dux Bellorum". The German Herzog means exactly the same thing.

Herceg (Hertseg) was a 'title', sign of nobility (like Lord in UK) in old Bosnia (before Islam came with Ottomans). Many Hercegs were kings of Bosnia, but it was not necessary to be one to be a king.

yeah Herzegovenia makes perfect sense now, thank you Sarah :) But anybody there who knows why we call it "Hersek"? I mean, are "Hersek" and "Herzegovenia" only derivations in two languages or is there any other explanation? You people keep me posted about new interesting sites about Bosnia. And Sarah, thank you, you're unique for helping people!

BM Radio is good (I would say, maybe the best quality stream) and has good quality programm and music.

For more links and 'live' radio and TV streams from Bosnia (and Balkan region) you can check Domovina.Net (Domovina = Homeland). On top of this, they have lot of articles in english and other languages, music to download. DOMOVINA.NET www.domovina.net)

There are so many sites about Bosnia and Herzegovina (to please Sarah01 :) ), but not so many in English...I am looking for something good for you. Meanwhile, you can check two sites that promote adventure and 'pure nature' tourism in Bosnia. I hope you like it. Both sites contain a bit of historical info and loads of pictures...

1) GreenVisions BiH www.greenvisions.ba)
from the site: "...Green Visions was founded on the principles of balance and harmony between man and nature. We have pioneered a movement in creating alternative means of sustainable development while maintaining an eco-friendly approach to all that we do."

2) BH Tourism www.bhtourism.ba)
from the site: "...Bosnia and Herzegovina has long been the crossroads of many civilizations and cultures. It is these centuries of cultural diversity that has melded Bosnia and Herzegovina into one of the fascinating, interesting and beautiful countries in Europe."

If you guys have no problem reading Bosnian, let me know...:)
