Have you ever seen a tear
descending a lover's face
Hell rain-drop
tearing through his skin
Digging Tunnels
of undying grief
Scars of a cruel rejection
A bleak painting
drawn with a jagged blade
upon the innocent face
A face that never hated
Never deceived
and yet it got slapped
So many times
By pitiless hands
A single tear
Is now a flow
Burning
Eating that face
That only hoped for love
Until it left nothing
But a smoking ash
Twisted into one word
Left for the world to hear
Why?
