nah man. i went to school at albany where they have summer camp evey year. i've never seen such a bunch of cry babies (i havent seen them work with Coughlin, things might be different now). they used to work as if they were gonna die. they had the swagger every single year and a whole lotta talk but they sucked out there. really put me off.

unless of course he restructures his contract. which cud b possible since he's been injured a lot. in any case, if he's healthy i guess there is no point in letting him go. he's decent enuf. and they do have the RBs already (houston and blaylock) in my opinion. they shud really trade down and get multiple picks to fix everything else. i'd like to be able to finally root for a decent NY team other than the yankees.

Thats y draftin another qb or gettin philip rivers would be suicide for teh jets

Yes but Chad has a lot of guarenteed signing bonus loot that will be a cap hit over the next few years so they can't cut him yet. They are stuck.

:) he can't really sit on his salary. he can be cut.

wat sux is that the jets are over the cap and have to shed a lot of salary. So gettin a Qb like leinart, young, or even philip rivers will not help teh jets with the cap. This sunday could of been the last game you'll ever see Ty Law and John Abraham wearin green and white

i know i read somewhere the jets will be hit pretty hard if they release Pennington, and im pretty sure he wont restruct his contract cuz his career can be over and he can take that money sit on it and live a nice life

if there's one thing we learned from the TO saga its the fact that NFL doesnt have guaranteed contracts like MLB. so pennington's contract can be restructured. i dont know how the cap hit works though but there are ways to make it workable. i'm sure chad realizes he can't get this kinda money any where else either cuz of his injuries.

gettin another qb would be absurd when pennington is gettin paid 64 million. Id rather stick with fielder who is a proven winner. Also going after guys like Ramsey, or Kitna is better than drafting a rookie

Man NFL got real fire happy today...Tice, Capers, Sherman, Martz...and Sanders retired AGAIN!!...good luck to the PAckers at gettin Favre back now that they've fired Sherman...way to go Texans they did exactly what we thought they'd do...Doug Flutie rules!!!...Favre played awesome and they beat the top seed in the NFC yesterday...

need i remind you the Jets O line allowed TWO quarterbacks to get MAIMED in one game and i think vinny got injured too. Jets do have blaylock who had very good seasons behind priest holmes and they have cedric houston and curtis martin is still there (can b a backup at least). the Jets need a QB who's better than Chad. not having the chance to pick Bush might be the best thing to happen to the Jets. but who knows, even the texans might not take him cuz like u said they do have more urgent needs. the 49ers prolly need him more than any other team.
i'm not a jets fan (or the giants for that matter) but i do prefer the jets among the local teams. im really hoping they get a QB.

the texans dont have even have an offensive line to protect bush, they have way more needs than the jets. They can end up with 4 picks if they trade the number 1 to fill the many voids on their roster. Also the texans have Domanick Davis and Johnathon Wells who can carry the load and would perform better if they had an offensive line. Also Carr wouldnt be sacked 10 times a game if they had an offensive line. Plus the Jets need a rb Curtis Martin is too old now.

and you don't think he would help the texans? taking pressure off Carr is not important? except that the texans dont have a defense compared to the Jets, all the other reasons apply to them too

yes bush can have a big impact, cuz the jets have a really good defense, they would of been much better this year if they werent of the field so long cuz of the offense. With bush running and gettin more first downs to prolong the drives the D would be more fresh and give up less points. The impact Bush would have, Pennington's dinky throws would be effective and efficient because he wouldnt be the centerpiece of the offense

but it will to the jets?

yea i know but the jets lost b4 the houston game ended. Anways i hope the texans trade their pick away cuz 1 player wont make a huge impact to their team

even if they had won houston still wud get the pick.
