have you ever seen a patient on therapeutic levels of carbmazapine yet is still seizing? i'm wondering if the epoxide could be toxic at all, maybe they would be higher if the person autoinduces too much?????

any help?

yeah this person is in a care facility so they're pretty much compliant, their levels are therapeutic, also on phenytoin whith therepeutic levels...no infection etc so its abeen a real puzzle this one...only thing i can think of is that they were on valproic acid which was taken away seizure free but now its started again...i'd say bring back the valproic but who knows...
