Position Title : Multiple Internships, Undergraduate and Graduate Company: The Supreme Court of the United States Location: Washington, DC Duration: Part Time/Temporary/Contract/Project , Internship Description of job: Graduates from the top schools are encouraged to apply for all offices:
Requirements:
1) Successful completion of at least one year of college education.
2)Work experience, preferably in an office setting. Preference will be given to applicants whose experience relates to the work of the office(s) to which they apply.
3) Availability for at least 8 weeks.
4) Employment is subject to successful completion of a security background check.
BUDGET OFFICE:
Detail oriented with an interest in Accounting or Budget; clerical and computer skills appreciated.
CURATOR'S OFFICE:
Interest in history, museum work, research skills and experience in public speaking or customer service *Must submit two letters or recommendation.
DATA SYSTEMS: Hands-on experience and interest in computer applications, particularly hardware/software set-up and installation.
PUBLICATION UNIT DATA SYSTEMS:
Team-oriented, to work in printing and e-publishing. Web data formatting, data conversion, and customer service skills a plus. Shift flexibilty *START MAY 1 OR MAY 15.
LIBRARY:
Library graduate students or law students with library work experience required for one position, but not required for the other.
PUBLIC INFO OFFICE:
Interest in journalism/communications and the law and writing experience.
REPORTER OF DECISIONS:
Law student with editing experience.
