Censorship and cowardice on NFL Village

I really thought Salim had done an excellent job as owner of this village. However, his moderator, TheOutKast is nothing less than a coward who is censorship-happy.

He?s kicked out a fellow Bronco-supporter.

I dislike censorship and those who commit it are nothing less than insecure cowards who to show they can act, act with immature impulses ? much like stupid Fredo from The Godfather (dunno where that came from, but Theoutkast reminds me of that fool).

Here you have a perfectly good village where guys and girls talk about the great game of football and throw in plenty of witty remarks. Outkast seems to want it his way. He needs to liven up and get over his insecurity.

Sure we many not like many of the folks in a village, but that?s what makes the village interesting. It?s pretty retarded to see these actions of Outkast.

Message to Outkast: Grow up! Don?t be a sissy.

PS) Outkast also needs to accept that the Giants are a flash in the pan.

Anyhow, I hope Salim puts his foot down and controls the sissy moderators. I won?t be interacting in villages run by sissies.

It was nice while it lasted. Have fun and enjoy the playoffs!

Long live Broncos!

Glad to be a Pats fan but a Patsy no way! :P

It is hard to believe it has been over twenty years since I started watching professional football.

Not a historian but a guy who lived through history and can still remember some of it.

Remember USFL days and when Doug Flutie was playing college football.

Inshallah the next twenty years will go by as fast and be just as good if not better!

WOW. guys ARE worse than a bunch of GIRLS! harsh comments, hurt feelings, deleted comments OH MY!

Obviously the evidence has been destroyed so what I gathered is from what everyone emailed me and what I pieced together from TOK's comments in this JE.

First of all, the naked pic comment WAS/IS an inside joke amongst Naseeb's Elite Fantasy Football League. (Read: ELITE. If you weren't chosen to be on the league, then you weren't considered worthy).

Second, I consider every single member of that team a close friend: it was my first season playing and everyone was willing to help me with suggestions and pointers. We've made it through a great season of football and have endured lots of trashtalking. There could not have been a better group of people to play with! I had the best football minds as my "teachers" (Agent2000, TOK, and Salim511 namely)

To the fallen soldier (if he's ever allowed back): TOK's comments may seem extreme, or harsh but you gotta respect him for his honesty. You just have to go to war with him and lose in order for him to respect you. He basically murders and burries you, then resurrects you.

Third, we talked a whole lot of SMACK in that league WAYYYYY BEFORE PRE-SEASON EVEN BEGAN!! (No one ever censored me for wanting ImranRizvi85 to dance for me while I threw pennies down his shirt) Everyone who's anyone knows its all in good fun.

Quoting Amir911 from wayy back when: NO TEARS IN NFL VILLAGE.

...'nuff said. I have better things to do with my time (like deciding on my starting ESPN lineup against Agent)

Im sure the person who tattled on TOK had good intentions, one can only hope, but I cant help but notice how many guys in this village have a Hero-Complex when they sense a damsel in distress... ;)

EVIL T1000 (TANVEER786): I didnt know you liked football til mid-season either... pind-loving bandwagoner. :P

Why was homie banned for accidentally deleting comments in his journal? All inapropriate (read: vulgar) comments should be deleted. Broncos zindabad? Nothing cracks me up more than fobby football fans.

Dood in Arabic translates as lice is that nice! Christian Palestinian friend from university days was shocked to find everyone calling each other dood here in Canada.

Tanveer: Happy that our comments make you laugh; especially, my use of the english language.

There is actually a theory out there that it was really Sheikhspear not Shakespear.

Oh those where the good ol days of football with the Baltimore Colts.

YES! You spelled it DOOD! I knew if I kept spelling it like that, eventually change would come and others would follow! Amir, you the man. BTW-I wanna have a reunion sometime in the near future as well as have other Naseebers who we have not met yet. Perhaps in NYC. Thats not too far for a lot of heads.

Amir: Tanveer is from Indiana originally. Believe that? Why would someone make that shyt up??? *:

Hate the Patriots?

This I cannot understand!!!!

Oh well people have a right to their opinions even if I don't agree with them. :)

New England vs Chicago Bears with New England winning it all is what I hope for in this upcoming SuperBowl, inshallah.

As much as I hate to admit this but I have to agree with TOK, he's abrasive...yes, in your face...without question. But, he?s knows his football, and he?s got a cynical sense of humor and that what makes this village fun.

This is supposed to be fun, that?s why were here.

Shah-puria deleted his own village, and censored everyone. That?s some backwards thinking? If I?ve even seen any.

Rozaiba, you over reacted and so did your fellow Broncos fan, Shah-puria. I have to point out that you two started showing up around mid-season, or was it even later than that, until then not a peep. At least TOK was representing his G-Men on a weekly basis from Week One and on.

I got hammered by him and a few others earlier this year, for something I knew was right.
But, I didn?t cut and run.

since when are you the king? oh well, you got one week left .. then i'll be the king. P:
and yea this has gotten really out of hand. i didn't even realize what happened till u reminded me of the naked pic comment. that was directed at one particular person and if she (and seems like every one else) knows it's a joke and is fine with it, then nobody shud b deleting any one else's comments. other wise TOK would be the first to get deleted I'm sure :P .. just have fun ppl. it's just a game and we're just supposed to have some fun.
