I am really really impressed by this CoD.I do not know how and what inferences can be taken out of this related to middleeast(desertpower).
Has anyone seen it and if so then what you say?

It was definitly much better than the first Dune series... I for one could not imagine a fat fremen, but thankfully they replaced the chubby Stiglar in the 2nd series. You have to read the books... they are great and much better than the mini-series... FYI: CoD covers the 2nd and 3rd book in the series... in the 4th book there is no longer competition over ruling Arrakis.. all spice is controlled by the God Emperor.. so you can probably infer things about a monopoly in there :)
