Climbing in NC
Salaam!
Any climbers in NC? I recently moved to NC from Southern California and would like to start climbing western NC when the weather warms up a bit. A word of warning, i don't know how to lead. I'm in very good shape, so the hiking part isn't really a problem. Technical climbs in a gym i can do 5.9 or mid range 5.10s (5.11s???-errr..not so much..) I've bouldered quite a bit in SoCal and done many 1 pitch climbs (though all of them have been top rope). I also did a few multi pitch climbs in Yosemite.
Hope to hear from you all!

Great climbing.
Ive lived in NC for 13 years. No rock climbing yet, but I hike sections of the AT all the time. If your interested in hiking the Smokeys, Pisgah, or Mt. Mitchell let me know. Im also getting ready to climb Mt. Baker in Washington State.
