Cold Asphalt...

On the streets again, again
the lonely pariah, walking
on the same cold street,
in the same cold world,
asphalt is too cold, too
black, too bleak, im all alone,
lost in the dark woods of my
inner darkness, with not a single
ray of hope to guide my thirsting heart,
to light my fallen path,
asphalt is so cold,
I can feel it penetrating my shoes
hungrily aiming for the shivering
heart within my sore chest, a chest
heaving, heaving, heaving, a wet
kitten draped in ice.

Darkness pressing on my
insides, asphalt is too hard,
but I have to set, my legs
are no more, people are all
around, walking, indifferently
staring, I am all alone, please
help me, why did you leave
me, all by my self in the cruel
world, I need your love to warm
me, I am shivering, oh my god
im very cold, evil grey clouds
took the lonely moon, where is
the light, I am blind, all alone,
no one cares, no one gives a
damn, all walking around,
uncaring, indifferent, heartless
monsters,

Asphalt is getting colder,
I am freezing, balled around
myself seeking nonexisten
t warmth, shriveled paper
thrown away, by people
(I foolishly thought) with
beating hearts, my heart is weak,
I can barely hear the thumbing
against my chest, oh god I am
so lonely, so cold, im dying,
falling into nothingness, the calling
is so intense, I have to obey,
something trickles out of
my shriveled body, could it
be life, all getting out of
focus, the street is a haze,
people vanishing, coldness
ebbing away, I am going?
going?
going?
gone !

People still walking around
indifferently on the cold asphalt,
some glimpsed something?
fleeting stares went over and gone,
a dead frozen body lay there?
a frozen hand over its frozen heart?
a body that once loved and lived?
and now no more?
