***Confidence***

***Confidence in life is key!***

Yes, we all get down at times and more often than not we feel like we don't have an ally in this world and that everyone hates us even when we have done nothing wrong. Self-confidence DOES breed contempt! Cry in private if you must, let the passions out, and start a new day as a new beginning bright with hope and rejuvinated self-confidence. Whatever you do and whatever you go through in life (with all life's stormy moments included), ALWAYS have full faith in yourself.

:)

If you can go out and with sweats, pony tail, and no make up, does that mean you have confidence or lack there of?

Jamilaz and Slim: I'm not married so can't relate to you ladies in totality although I see your perspective. In my worldview, if you can keep yourself happy, this happiness permeates not only all aspects of your life but those of people who your life touches on a daily basis ranging form family, friends, colleagues to complete strangers.

Confidence is contagious! Be confident in yourself, in your abilities, and in your surrounding and be the diva you are. Everything else is history!

Rock on...

Yes, I agree that we need to keep ourselves happy. It's just frustrating. I was very social in downtown CHicago. Moved to NYC for about a year when I got married. I still saw many of my friends because they were always coming through to NYC for things. Now my husband and I have moved to Bloomington, IN because of his job. It's a nice place to live to raise a family - like a suburb. However, socially, there aren't any cool Muslim people in our age group. There is the immigrant crowd and they are nice people, but not much in common with them. Most of the wives act like they never have left their home country and look at me as completely "American." I have made non-muslim friends, but I miss that young Muslim company I had in Chicago. My husband has his worklife and tries to include me in that as much as he can socially. It's all kool there, but not the same. Slimshorty has baby Zara. I am waiting for my baby to arrive in about 3 weeks. I'm sure I'll be more occupied then.

k Now stop relating with each other. She is already sad. And yeah Shorty we have fun at our gatherings.

And U should be happy that u have a husband u you can go to these online gatherings. Not all husbands allow that u know or take u to any online gathering where u will be meeting few complete strangers and sometimes possible psychos. So u need to be happy with what you have. and MashAllah you have no less.

Nothing or no one can keep u happy ... U keep urself happy!

Slimshorty - Among all the things we already have in common, here's another one - we both moved to different cities for our husbands.

CONFIDENCE

Confidence should come natural
sometime's in a pill or a can
it could be hiding behind dollars
so hard to find
so dream your dreams
this may not make sense
your life will suck
without true confidence

I get the feeling you know I am sad. Yes I am. But Inshallah I will feel better soon. That is my biggest reason fo rthis village. To find comfort in like minded people.

Sophisty, believe me hun, I used to wake up every morning with a smile going up to my eyebrows. But ever since I moved to Chicago, I don't know why I lost it.

BUt mashallah I am also very happy. I love my husband, my baby and my in laws. Allah has fulfilled my wishes.

I will take you advice and try my best. You know I'm cool. We had so much fun at our gathering, right Mona, Samir?
