my Goodness Laila! such an outrageous journal abt us freshies... im afraid here u r makin the same generalisation which some freshies do abt bbcd(british born clever desis, just in case u get offended)... and perhaps some ppl may get offended for being called FOB or Freshies (btw i dnt mind to be called freshi, though in a few more yrs il be staled :P ) as british born r offended to be called confused... besides there r freshies who have used respectable means, other than marriage and assylum, for gettin a british passport... just a little change in wording may put a lot ppl at ease who mite ve got upset... hey u freshies(my niggas) out there, mind wot u say abt our lovely bbcds... tomorrow u too gona ve bbcd kids...

humble-soul... everyone here is entitled to they own opinions and we should respect each others opinion!! even if it sounds cruel,,, everyone comes from different walks of life and have had different experiences,,,,if you do want to leave the village, thats your opinion but we are still friends!!!

british girls being Bimbo-ish,,,, yeh they can be,, but what would you rather have,,, a Pakistani women who has jealously in her, and is pretty tarty, who does everthing and only think about her back home family and sends all gifts and money back home and makes her family here suffer,,,,,,,,,,, or would you prefer the bimbo-ish british born, who is aware of her culture too, religion, has more of a clean heart as she doesn't have things to hide and doesn't hurt anyone in a sly way, whose honest in many ways and is aware of the system and in long term is not a burden on her partner as she can independently do thinks too!!!

ok men born here and brought up in Pakistan, they are ok as they have passports and usually come and appreciate being back,,, they are ok!!!-- i'm talking about pendu people!!

ps - all my british asian friends would agree that a huuuuuuuuuuuuge number (majority?) of asian girls around us seem to have somewhat bimbo-ish tendencies (sorry to cause offence as i realise i am .. and am among.. a pile of british asian girls)

Misslondon, what about pakistani guys (let's concentrate on guys since i don't know any fob girls) who live abroad.. ie in the west for a few years and actually seem to be better ppl than 'some' of the slimy guys born n brought up here.. is this just my perception?

It is wrong to generalise as not all pakistanis from pakistan are like that..Its all about Education as Nush quite rightly states..

Are we not generalising somewhat? Although perhaps true in some respects, I am sure there are genuine pakistanis out there - and who would be offended at your generalisations luv! :) - just the same how saadia's cousin has a unfounded generalised perception of UK born desi's. People that lack knowledge are the ones that behave like ignoramuses :) - they should really look at the state of their own 'house' first eh?

i personally would have a problem marrying a boy from pakistan as i find them selfish, corrupted, gready,,, the women from back home are two faced and i find instead of making a family, they usually like breaking families,,ie:mother and son etc,,,,, we hear so many stories about how some pakistani people come to the uk, get a indefinite stay then start showing they true colours,,,,,,all income earned goes back home and its the UK people who in the long term SUFFER!!!!
