Add some Turkish apple tea to that list, Mali :) And mini smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels. Celes: The verdict was more definitive than we'd expected ;)

hehe, of course I know you're kidding Celestine.
By the way, my invitation to tea was open to everyone ; ) You may include your suggestions for food/tea : )

Thanks Noori1, hope you're having a good weekend too.

Nice shades Afaq - mashaAllah. ( I mean, I don't know what the other half of those sunglasses looks like, so I'm extrapolating).

Take care ;) assalam alaikum

Hey, that's not true.
You can't think that membership in this village is the sole criterion by which you can judge an entire population.

But if you're mind is already made up, there's not much I can do about it. It is Ramadan after all, no point in fighting ; )

In any case, it would be better for you if people on both sides of the Atlantic were better read. More company ; )

take care all, assalam alaikum

You have a valid argument here Celestine with no one coming forward. I thought though perhaps we could create a little discussion/debate. Ok have a good weekend, I'm heading off to see the family for the w/e :)

dude only a copuple of norht americanoes replied - but it verifies teh argument that i am making - they dont read as much, therefore are less likely to log onto a village like this one.
Q>E>D.

Nah Celestine, let's keep it going, there's must be some North Americans who like to counter the argument. Otherwise it's too boring to have a discussion with ppl from one side only who all agree with each other....hehehe

I agree Brits are more well read than Amricans for sure!
I lived in Chicago for a while........all most people know about Shakespeare is that he wrote 'Romeo and Juliet'.
Ask them of other plays written by him and they won't know.
But then that is most Americans......not all.

No comment - I'd be too biased.
Aaawwww ok then - you've forced me to comment.....yeah totally better read (tongue in cheek).
Nah I'm sure our US neighbours manage to get their daily quota of words.

Wow, this has taken on a life of its own ;)

Malish and Foxglove, your choice of tea and the supporting cast (food I mean) is excellent.

We can throw in different kinds of tea as well, mint tea, that Kashmiri pink tea, etc. I don't know if Rusmalai can be part of the ensemble. If it were up to me, Rusmalai would be part of every arrangement.

Banana Nut Bread?

I feel bad now. This tea may never take place, given the Atlantic Ocean that divides us and all. But the imagined version is wonderful :D
