cookware
what's the best cookware you've used? Ffal? Lagostina? etc...
Try to avoid Teflon because the coating tends to wear off. You also never know what type of chemicals it's releasing into your food! I heard that bird owners should not apply nail polish with that new Teflon coating because it can be lethal if their pets swallow it. (Birds like to chip away at the polish.) Anyway, if it can kill a bird, I don't think it's exactly healthy for humans either!
Good question, Smiles! Though a bit harder to find, pots with a copper base tend to be better than "regular" ones. I love to use cast iron pans - Granted, they're a bit rustic looking (Little House on the Prairie often comes to mind!), but I find that food just tastes better when I cook with them. With a little care and proper maintenance, they can last a very, very long time. :) Hope your search goes well... :)
