hey yall, its been a while since i've been on here! glad to hear yall visited CR... yeah I hear Jaco beach was good as well as the northern part near tamarindo...

My concussion is much better Alhamdulilah. I still get the occasional headache, but I guess it comes with the territory...

hey salaamz! ok, so i'm a little behind since i just joined this village...

but lemme just say...i surfed on manuel antonio/quepos this summer, and it was horrible! the beach is RIDICULOUSLY crowded and the tide is way too high, all the time. if you're an awesome surfer, it may be okay, but i got wacked in the head by way too many boards belonging to other ppl, and i musta hit some other swimmers/surfers with my own board too...cuz it was just so crowded. i almost completely resigned to not surfing any more in costa rica...but then i headed to the Pac side, and playa samara (its just a little south of tamarindo) was AWESOME. the waves were like knee to waist high (perfect for me), a lot more serene and less crowded, and the surfers were a lot cooler. I was gonna go to tamarindo or flamingo, but i heard they were crazy crowded too, so i just stayed in samara.

haha headache is getting much better :) they said it would take a few weeks to get back to full strength! alhamdulilah i'm fine.

hey i just got bck last night... surfing was decent in the south western area, near Manuel Antonio/Quepos... i hear its much better up near Tamarindo and Papagayo in the northwestern area...

I had to come home early cuz I got a concussion when some jackass fell off his board and nailed me in the back of the head! not cool... I came out of the water covered in blood... thankfully all is well... gotta wait a few days to see if i have to get a CT scan.
