if dumbledore dies...then i refuse to read book 7...that just wont be right...dumbledore makes everything seem safer

yeah i read that there are rumors that it's either dumbledore, uncle vernon or hagrid who dies!!! like it's some recurring character...

i think its dumbledore....i think HP will have to go into book 7 without dumbledore to back him up

The history of the Malfoys forms part of the mystery. That includes Snapes, Karkaroff and Voldemort's past too as well as Slytherin.I have heard that we will be knowg more of Mrs. Malfoy in the 6th book. Maybe she'll give important revelations...

Maybe one of the Weasly's but not Ron since he is central. Since it was a father figure type to Harry in HP5 that dies, I am leaning toward their mom or if its a professor than the head of Gryfndor. The theory is Harry will have been involved (but innocent) in some kind of altercation but it will look suspicious so Ron & maybe others will start to blame/doubt our good boy.
There would be more drama and interest if the Ron, Harry, Herminone triangle is not such a constant happy happy storyline.

Most probably Dumbledore. He has been described as growg weaker and older in the most recent HPs.But i get a feelg its Hermione. Hope its not any one of them...

Well...Wormtail probably won't die until the last one - because we have to see him repay Harry for saving his life and that will probably happen towards the end. So it can't be him.

I doubt it will be one of the teachers or Ron or Hermione. Who else? Lupin? I hope it's not Dobby - he's so cute in the 4th book - especially when he says "Harry Potter must find his wheezy!". I hope it's Cho Chang. What a cry-baby.

woohoo! I can't wait either. I've put an order in with Amazon. I'm re-reading all the books right now (almost done with GoF). I can't believe I said this last night to my friend though. I said : "I can't wait till tomorrow!" . Friend: "Why?". Me: "So I can read Harry Potter on the bus to work!". I'm pathetic.
