One of the things I miss the most about Saudi is being able to eat anything anywhere without having to worry about it being halal or not. Well, I came across an interesting website that I?d like to share with others- it is called zabihah.com and is great way to find markets and restaurants with halal products.
Zabihah is the Arabic word for "slaughtered" in the Islamic fashion. The main goal of halal butchering is to avoid any cruel or unnecessary suffering on the part of the animal. You can actually rate halal establishments and verify their authenticity on the site too.
I came across a number of places in Los Angeles that I never even knew existed- so feel free to browse by area and be pleasantly surprised.
