I was finally able to write to CRTC here in Canada via the web and complain about the overt sexual nature of programming espcially that of graphical nature that is becoming more common on television in Canada and have such programming censored.

This reminded me to write(this was done by visiting there website) to our public transit authority in Toronto about the overly sexual nature of ads on our public transit cars and buses in terms of depicting "skin" and sexual lifestyles.

We need to voice our concerns about types of ads and television programming we are exposed to on a daily basis. This is an obligation we should take seriously.

It is when people stop encouraging good and forbidding evil that people are subjected to calamities that claim the lifes of even the innocent ones.

Rasul Allah - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam - said, (I swear) by He who holds my soul in His Hands, you shall indeed command the good, and you shall indeed forbid the evil, otherwise Allah shall rain down upon you a punishment, then you shall attempt to invoke Him and your (invocations) shall be unanswered.?

On the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say:

"When any one of you sees anything that is disapproved (of by Allah), let him change it with his hand. If he is not able to do so, then let him change it with his tongue. And if he is not able to do so, then let him change it with his heart, though that is the weakest (kind of) faith."
