Dallas For Kiddies!


hmmm... My sis's kiddies will be visiting us in Austin for the summer (ages 8, 6.75, 3.5, respectively... ma!). I'm familiar w/ Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. But what's there to do in Dallas for kids?

All I can think of is the Dallas zoo?!?

I've added to my things to-do, Dallas Galleria & Arboretum!

Houston's Galleria is real nice, indeed. In Austin, the Arboretum is an outdoor shopping plaza and also nice cafe's and eateries... fountains/trees/hills!

lol the arboretum is really pretty just very garden-y. its just really nice scenery on an afternoon...lotta wallking. galleria is ok , not nearly as big as houstons, but its a really good one, usually busy and of course the ice skating is always fun :)

Tell me more about this Dallas Arboretum & Galleria... well for myself, that is! lol... are they hot-spots for shopping?!? :p

actually the fort worth zoo is a million times better than the dallas one. you got 6 flags in arlington, hurricane harbor in arlington, dallas arboretum, palace of wax in grand prairie, ice skating at the galleria, the carousel ride at stonebriar, and places like the nasher sculpture center downtown they sometimes have activities just for kids. hope this helps, i'm sure there are other things if i remember anything ill let ya know

hmmm... C1' the darn kiddies are coming to Tejas from DC/NoVA!?! lol...
