WHY DO DIVORCED MEN PREFER TO MARRY WOMEN WHO HAVE NOT BEEN DIVORCED???
IN UK, 135,000 DIVORCES OCCURRED IN THE YEAR 2005, DOES THIS MEAN ALL OF US WHO ARE GETTING MARRIED ARE AT A HIGH RISK OF A DIVORCE??
IS IT SAFER TO LIVE WITH A PARTNER THEN MARRYING THEM??

AND WHERE ARE THESE PICTURES AS I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MYSELF HOLDING MY BOOOBS????
ZENZA, DID YOU LEARN ANYTHING AFTER YOUR DIVORCE???
What you don't seem to understand is that it's not about getting married to a super model or a sex bomb, it's just about some level of physical attraction. That's what I'm talking about.
As I said before I don't really need to go into what happened in my situation on here and tbh I really can't take you seriously.
You really haven't got a clue about what it's actually like to be in that situation in Pakistan.
And yes, you do seem to think that you know about islam but then the stuff you post about your sex life on this site and pics on others (lol) just makes you look like a joke.
NUSSIE; I RESPECT WHAT YOU SAID,BUT PUT YOURSELF IN THAT GIRLS SHOES WHO ZENZA SAID HE DIVORCED BECAUSE SHE WASN'T GOOD LOOKING ENOUGH,,,,, ITS OK FOR US UK WOMEN TO PICK AND CHOSE PARTNERS BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE(FAMILIES,GIRLS) IN PAKISTAN, BANGLADESH, INDIA WHO DON'T HAVE FREEDOM, MONEY OR INDEPENDENCE OR CONFIDENCE TO JUST MOVE ON!!
NUSSIE; GETTING DEPRESSED IS BETTER THEN LIVING A LIFE OF HELL IN PAKISTAN!!!
ZENZA, IF YOU REALLY ARE SO WORRIED ABOUT ME HOLDING MY BOOBS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD HOLD THEM THEN,,,(WHICH PICTURE HAVE YOU GOT THIS WILD IMAGINATION FROM)
ALSO I'VE NEVER SAID THAT I KNOW A LOT ABOUT ISLAM OR AM PRACTISING, I HAVE MENTIONED THAT I AM LEARNING!!!
ZENZA, SAY YOU GOT MARRIED TO THIS REALLY PRETTY LOOKING GIRL, BUT SHE IS A RIGHT BITCH, THEN WHAT YOU GOING TO DO??
OR LETS SAY LATER IN LIFE(GOD FORBID) SHE HAS A SERIOUS ACCIDENT AND IS SCARRED FOR LIFE,, DOES THIS MEAN YOU'LL LEAVE HER????????
LIFE IS NOT EASY FOR MANY OF US IN UK, BUT NO ONE CAN IMAGINE WHAT PAKISTANI PEOPLE MUST BE GOING THROUGH EVERYDAY!!
I THINK WE SHOULD APPRECIATE WHAT WE HAVE IN UK.
As for MissLondon, you seem to be preaching a lot about islam but the way you conduct yourself is actually the total opposite of what islam teaches.
Bear that in mind next time when you have your boobs in your hand and on display for every man to see. Do you honestly think I can take you seriously?
TBH, I don't even need to go into this and defend myself as it's none of your concern.
I made a decision when I was 25 to marry someone my parents chose for me and I didnt have much choice in the matter at the time, I was never forced but it was not easy to say NO!
I was so depressed that accepting the marriage without giving it enough thought was the easy option because I did not have the mental energy to fight. I have only shared this information to make a point.
Without the full facts ( which Zenza does not need to disclose on londoncrew! ) we must never judge another person on why they did something!!!
I'm learning from you gal ;)
The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said:
"Whoever marries a woman solely for her power and position, Allah will only increase him in humiliation. Whoever marries a woman solely for her wealth, Allah will only increase him in poverty. Whoever marries a woman because of her beauty, Allah will only increase him in ugliness. But whoever marries a woman in order that he may restrain his eyes, observe cautiousness, and treat his relations kindly, Allah puts a blessing in her for him and in him for her."
BUT LEARNING AN EXPERIENCE ON SOMEONE LIFE, I THINK IS NOT RIGHT!!
AFTER ALL, WHAT DID THAT GIRL DO WRONG??
AFTER MARRIAGE HER HUSBAND DECIDED TO LEAVE HER BECAUSE SHE WASN'T GOOD LOOKING ENOUGH!!!
FOR GOD SAKE, DOES ISLAM TEACH US TO BE OBEDIENT TO OUR FAMILY BY RUINING SOMEONES LIFE AND LEAVING THEM BECAUSE THEY FAILED TO TURN US ON!!!
ONE THING, EVERY MUSLIM SHOULD REMEMBER:
YOUR BORN ALONE, YOU'LL DIE ALONE,, YOUR MOTHER WILL FAIL TO RECOGNISE YOU ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT AS SHE'LL BE TOO BUSY TRYING TO GET INTO HEAVEN HERSELF!!!!
INTELLIGENCE, IF SOMEONE GOT MARRIED AND TRIED TO MAKE THINGS WORK AND THEN FAILED, THEN FINE, PUT IT AS AN EXPERIENCE AND MOVE ON!!!!!
BUT NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO LEAVE A WOMAN WHO JUST DOESN'T SEEM ATTRACTIVE ENOUGH!!!
TELL YOU A STORY
AN EDUCATED MAN WAS VERY OBEDIENT TO HIS PARENTS, WHEN FINDING A WIFE, HE LEFT IT ALL TO HIS MOTHER AND CONVINCED HIMSELF THAT HIS MOTHER WILL FIND HIM THE WIFE HE DESIRED, A GIRL WHO IS TALL, SLIM, FAIR, EDUCATE AND EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE!!!
HIS MOTHER FOUND HIM A GIRL WHO WAS FROM A POOR FAMILY AND WITHOUT SEEING HER, HE MARRIED HER, THINKING HIS MOTHER CAN'T GO WRONG!!
ON THE HONEYMOON NIGHT, HE WENT CLOSE TO HIS WIFE AND LIFTED UP HER VEIL, TO HIS SHOCK THE GIRL WAS NOT WHAT HE WANTED, SHE WAS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE TO HIS CHOICE,
THE MAN WAS SO DISAPPOINTED THAT HE LEFT THE ROOM AND SLEPT OUTSIDE, DISAPPOINTED IN HIS MOTHER'S CHOICE!!
IN THE MORNING THE WIFE BROUGHT HIM HIS TEA, SHE SAW THE DISAPPOINTMENT ON HIS FACE SO SHE ASKED HIM,
"MY HUSBAND, YOU SEEM DISAPPOINTED IN ME"
HUSBAND HONESTLY REPLIED,"I AM AN EDUCATED MAN, WHOSE WORKED HARD AND CREATED WEALTH,I AM TALL, FAIR AND KNOWN TO BE GOOD LOOKING, I ALWAYS PRAYED AND ASKED ALLAH TO GIVE ME A WIFE WHO WAS BEAUTIFUL LIKE ME, WHERE EVERYONE JUST KEEPS STARING AT HER BEAUTY, A TALL, FAIR, STUNNING WIFE, EDUCATED AND WEALTHY,"
THE WIFE, VERY SAD,LOOKED AT HER HUSBAND AND SAID," WHEN I PRAYED TO ALLAH, I ASKED HIM TO GIVE ME A MAN WHO WAS FAIR, TALL, HANDSOME AND VERY EDUCATED,SOMEONE RICH IN WEALTH AND IN DEEN,ALLAH HAS HEARD MY PRAYERS AND GRANTED THEM, BUT ITS NOT MY FAULT THAT ALLAH DIDN'T LISTEN TO YOU"
THE MAN THOUGHT ABOUT IT WHAT HIS WIFE SAID, BUT AS TIME WENT ON, HE GREW TO LOVE HIS WIFE AND HER UNDERSTANDING THAT HE COUNTED HIMSELF LUCKY TO HAVE THE BEST WIFE IN THE WORLD!!!!
MissLondon, Islam doesnt teach to kick someone when they're down either. Seriously, a bit of sensitivity would not go amiss here. Though, I do agree with a lot of what you've said and I see your point of view and how you pointed out how 'izzat' is paramount for a girl and her family in South Asian countries (for example) and the pains that parents there go to get their daughters married and how the stigma attached to being a divorcee is more potent and harder to shake off than it is here due to cultural norms and the society's attitude etc... Not to mention the fact that the blame for why the marriage didnt work almost always falls upon the girl.
Now then, with regards to the whole idea of forced marriages and how you have said 'you could have done this, you could have done that'... Yes, they are all valid options however it is so easy to see those options when you are not in that boat yourself. It is so easy to see those options for yourself in retrospect also. But at the time, even if those options are at the back or forefront of someone's mind, there are ALWAYS other factors to consider. A man can bring 'shame' (in the cultural-bound sense) upon his family just as easily as a woman and by refusing a marriage that has already been arranged by the elders etc is sometimes out of the question.
Of course it is utterly wrong to marry someone against their will and we often hear how women have to go through this but spare a thought for the men too. Some of whom are young and inexperienced and are just trying to be obedient to their parents and learning the hard way that you should be obedient to your parents in everything except that which contravenes the teachings of our noble religions Islam. Being forced to marry is contrary to Islam but how many people know that at the time of Nikaah when there is a lot of pressure from the families etc?
Of course, it is about education, knowledge and one should know one's rights but we sometimes trust our parents or want to trust them especially when we know that they think they are doing what is best. Yes, one does have to take responsibility for one's own life and make one's own desicions etc but it should not be any different for a man or a woman. If we have truth on our side, if we know what we are doing is right in the sight of Allah then it does not matter what your family thinks, what society thinks etc, the truth gives us strength, it gives us courage. What it boils down to is knowing what the truth is, we find the truth from knowledge and as they say knowledge is power. And we all have to seek that power ourselves and take responsibility for our own souls, but again, not everyone learns that from an early age.
We all make mistakes in life, big mistakes or little ones. This is what makes us all human. And in understanding that we can all just as easily make a mistake, we should be humbled by our own and the mistakes that we learn that other's make also. Pointing the finger or sniggering about other people's mistakes and misfortunes is contrary to the spirit of Islam. I myself am humbled but also, I'm also grateful for the lessons I learn from my own mistakes and those of others and they teach me to have a bit more compassion, for myself (because I can be hard on myself too) and for others too.
Like I always say, 'every experience can be a good one', if one learns from it and if one doesnt repeat the same mistakes over and over. I am sure that anyone who didnt say 'no' the first time and was forced into a marriage that ended in divorce would never repeat that again. You really do have to have been in that situation to appreciate the full extent of it or at least be able to empathise in order to understand some extent of it.
Experiences build our character, they form us and inshAllah, strengthen us. We all have to learn from somewhere and everything happens for a reason that only Allah SWT fully understands. Allah Alim.
BABE, GET A BETTER DEFENSE WHEN TRYING TO PUT ME DOWN, AS YOU SEEM TO KNOW, I AM KNOWN AS A MAN EATER AND IF YOUR THE NEXT VICTIM THEN I'LL BE GETTING MY KNIFES READY!!!!
What a wonderful place this world would be if we had people like you everywhere spreading the word of islam one minute and talking about being taken doggy style the next.
ZENZA, EVERYTHING I WRITE IS NOT DIRECTED AT YOU!!,,,
BUT THIS BIT IS:
YOU ARE WRONG TO SAY THAT WE CAN'T STAND UP TO OUR FAMILIES, YOU BEING A MAN CAN STAND UP TO ANYONE YOU WANT,,,,, IF YOU WERE BEING FORCED THEN YOU COULD OF RUNAWAY TO THE BRITISH EMBASSY AND BEEN ON THE NEXT PLANE HOME, ON THE NIKAAH YOU COULD OF SAID "NO", YOU COULD OF SPOKEN TO YOUR IN LAWS AND SAID "NO", YOU COULD OF SPOKEN TO YOUR PARENTS AND SAID "NO"
IN FACT, YOU WERE WEAK AND ISLAM DOES NOT TEACH MEN TO BE WEAK!!!
IN ISLAM, IF MEN WERE LIKE YOU THEN ISLAM WOULD NOT OF SPREAD THE WAY IT DID AND ALL OF US WOULD STILL BE HINDU PEOPLE,,,SO MAYBE ITS ABOUT TIME YOU WERE A MAN NOT A MOUSE!!!
LOVE LAILA
Your comment below with regards to the women side paid for the wedding. Was that referring to my wedding too? Cos if it is then you are very much mistaken.
I know many people fall in the same trap as I did and their parents take them to Pakistan/India/Bangladesh to get married. Not everyone can just stand up and say no.

Zenza, i am not referring to you, but i am telling you how things are in Pakistan, when WOMEN, DAUGHTERS get married,,, personally if i lived in Pakistan, i would never let me daughter marry a man from abroad, as some are a waste, they don't think and ruin lives and reputations!!
