Deed to perform before going to bed
It is reported that once the prophet (S.A.W) said the Hazrat Ali (R.A) : Oh Ali, perform the following five deeds before you go to bed at night:
1. Give 4000 dinars(Arabian money) as charity.
2. Read the whole Quran Shareef.
3. Give the price of paradise.
4. Reconcile two brothers who are not in good terms with each other.
5. perform one Hajj.
Hazrat Ali(R.A) asked: Oh prophet( S.A.W) : How is it possible to accomplish the deeds you have recommended?
The prophet(S.A.W) answered:
1. Read four times Surat Fateha that is 'ALHAMDOLILLAH', Its reward is equivalent to giving 4000 dinars as charity, and this reward will be recorded in your register (Nama-e-aamal).
2. Read 3 times 'QUL HU ALLAH' , You will receive the reward for reading the whole QURAN.
3. Read 3 times 'DAROOD SHAREEF' , And pay the price of paradise
4. Ask Allah for forgiveness 10 times And you will then receive the reward of having reconciled 2 brothers who are enemies to each other.
5. Read 4 times the 3rd KALIMA And you will receive the reward of performing one Hajj.
Hazrat Ali (R.A), promised the Prophet (S.A.W) that every night before going to bed he will perform these deeds
