WOW what a small world. I never went to that school, but I knew people who did. Howd his dad end up in Pakistan? Yeah, I think you need brains to make good music such as in this genre :)
1am? talk about making you wait for the main act..

Okay, so last nite was fun but not enough to satisfy the deep dish dose. So the opening DJ was really good and he was doing alot of arabic/persian/indian tunes mixes and i would say the guy was good. Now Deep Dish's Sharam didn't spin until 1am, and California is weird because party ends at 2am... so 1 hr of Deep Dishing, surely Geroge was so On, he played Flash Dance, Awake Enough, Everybody wearing my head just to name few... Overall good performance!...

Paul van Dyk is good too.

I think its just another one of those fields where it will take more time for females to become popular. There are a good amount of female DJs that are doing well, but not as famous as the males.

why is it that there are so many more male DJs out there and not enough females? how difficult can it be to spin two records together? hmmm, imma gonna find out and do a lil mixin of my own! by the way, anyone heard of the Belgian trio called Lasgo? the lead singer, Evi has an tantalizing voice and boys she's a beauty! thought i'd just throw out another one of my fav. artists :) www.lasgo.be

Their new album is original work, like their previous 'Junk Science.' Dubfire even sings one of the tracks!!! I missed them in LA last Friday, but they always put on a great performance :)
