Dental Question

What are wisdom teeth for? I mean - heck - if they crowd your mouth and you have to get them pulled - why did they grow in there in the first place?? Nonsensical theories also welcome.

they are a persons inner reflection, the react to human behaviours, the people who are good to other ppl the WT are never a problem for those ppl, but if there a naughty one in the crowd, they "have" to pull it out, or they bother for a life time. (how is that for a theory).

Before people's teeth used to fall out due to poor hygiene, so supposedly these teeth are an adaptation to that. Only in modern times our teeth don't fall out. I have 4 wisdom teeth right now, and one is growing toward my cheek and keeps slicing it :(

I had a wisdom that was growing in a direction of my cheek, so they had to remove it... otherwise there would be a HOLE in my cheek LOL! Thankfully it got removed in the last week just before I was going to pakistan for a holiday

I got my wisdom teeth long ago and have never had any problems. So, never thought about them. My dentist wants them removed but then why fix something that isn't broke.
