Desperately seeking Nihari

Maharaja Restaurant
2088 Massachusetts Ave - Cambridge, MA 02140-2012

Does anyone know about this place? is it cool? I have a serious craving for Nihari and can't find any in Bean town! I know its not possible that there is no Nihari here! So this place sorta listed Nihari on their menu....is it anygood? is it like wattered down beef curry? or wore with Chicken! Yuk...

Went to Boston Kebab and Pizza not bad, their serivice leaves somethign to be desired but they have the sort of unattentive staff indicative of my 3rd world homeland we went tuesday and the electricity went out! it felt like we were in pakistan :) The Nihari was not amazing but its cause they give no extra stuff with it and their nan is regular store bought stuff not desi stuff but I think I can work with it till I visit LA or NYC Or Chicago (as I'v heard) I'd recommend briging the NIhari home heating it up on the stove (I think they microwave it) and cutting up some garnish with it like lemon and ginger etc and getting some authentic naan.

I didn't like their food too much but it could be different now. Worse comes to worse, buy Shaan Nihari mix and make it at home. Its not that hard to make at home, just time consuming. Of course truly homemade Nihari is unbeatable...one thing my mother-in-law was good for...Her Nihari was amazing...hmm....oh well.
