Die Leafs Die
I'm sure I speak for all of the Leafs fans in this village, "I am disgusted with their effort this season". Even though they got the misforture of getting a lot of injuries this year, still it's no excuse. Every team goes through that.
What went wrong this season? Was it the salary cap that killed this season? Was it the injuries?, The lack of team cohesion? No solid winger on Sundin's line? Age finally catching up to Belfour? Pat Quinn's coaching?
To gear up for next season, who do you think the Leafs should keep on their roster, and who should they get rid of. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I suggest you start to pool money so you can buy kiprusoff from calgary.
But, in all seriousness, I think it is a GOOD thing that the Leafs may be eliminated from playoff contention. (I say "may be" because they're still breathing... though on life support). When a team is in disarray, false hope can be brutal. They need a wakeup call. Everyone knows that John F. Jr. isn't getting the job done. I personally think that Pat Quinn has lasted longer than he should have. And, the team is just not that talented, aside from a handful of players like Sundin. When Darcy Tucker is your leading scorer, you're in trouble. They need a major change for good things to start happening.
As a Habs fan, I've seen more downs than ups in the last decade. 3-4 different coaches. A few different GMs. We're far from stable, but things have been better with Bob Gainey in charge, as GM.
Sometimes change has to be embraced, and the Leafs need change.
