Difficulties of Looking for Spouse


I have noticed that trying to find a suitable match is more difficult. Which culture do you go with? Mom's, dad's, yours?

hanana, marriage is hard anyway ;) different cultures r cool actually if both sides ren't 'too' attached to their respective cultures ...

Wouldn't that be challenging also? Trying to put more than one culture together? And isn't putting two people from similar backgrounds/ethnicities/cultures hard too?

so the solution is simple ... TCKs should marry amongst each other and give birth to a new culture of its own...

It's hard. Many guys and or the guys family wants someone only from one culture/ethnicity. THEIRS! The desis want desis. The Arabs want Arabs. etc..... In some ways, you are discriminated just because you are not ALL one culture/ethnicity. So, it's really a challenge for those who grew up in American and whose parents are from two different cultures!
