I had seen them a week ago, and they were tight. esp mecca, the ladybug. plus she was hot, i forgot about that. and after so long they still were "fresh", and mecca's side tracks were hot as well. they remained true to diggable's jazz roots, w/ heavy keys, drums and mellow bass. their tour is not over, 'so if your in the city on sunday, come check me'.

More Digable Planet news: Today June 29th, Ladybug Mecca's solo album came out..... it's alright... almost sounds like a blend of India Arie and Mecca together...http://www.ladybugmecca.com/

i just heard a couple of tracks, it's alright..but she's def stronger in the rhyme game as opposed to urban singing...

Digable.....=sweet music. Butterfly and my personal fav. the ladybug. It is true they are touring and coming to no. cali soon. These folks are truly "hipsters", if you guys have not listened to them in a while pop in a cd or even better some wax, sit back and chill. A decade+ since they first dropped, "the rebirth of slick", it is quite apparent that they were far ahead of their time. makes you wonder WTF happened to hip/hop?

that is awesome. i hear ladybug was writing childrens books and butterfly was making films. these guys are so talented. i wonder if they'll have a jazz combo touring with them like they used to.
