Do you guys do this?


I think it's because I love cats soo much....but sometimes during the day, I randomly meow at random times of the day. It's become soo much of a ritual for me that I almost do it involuntarily. In fact, I think I've also distilled this on my sister--we greet each other by meows rather than salaams.

How odd is that?

Any normal person would think: very, very odd, or even retarded.
However, as a cat lover, I believe your meowing behavior is not unusual. I myself have the habit to meow aggressively when angry (like when cats do in fight - low, long nasal growl) - feline hand/paw gesture included (swiping through the air).

Ok..my first day at this village. We all talk to our cats. Oh man you shudd see my ammy. A large part of her life revolves around our cat...Genddi ( as in like a ball - gendd) and her kitten..Gillu :D She talks to them all day, scolding them, calling them and talking to them in the sweetest of words and tones. Its definitely not weird :D

Linus (my tabby) and I converse in meows...maybe it's similar to "motherese" with babies...only with cats it's "meowese" ;)

omg! i do include it in convo occasionally, but when i speak to my 9 n 4 yr old nieces, who love cats as much as i, we meow on a consistent basis.

i only meow when my cats meow. sorta like i'm having a convo with them, but umm er just randomnly meowing even that to a fellow human er i'm not too sure about that :)
