DO YOU SKYPE?
Imagine a website that allows you to speak to anyone around the world via phone?and its absolutely free! If you know where I am coming from with this (read my 1st ?Rules of Communication? journal article) then I would call this a nightmare in the making, that is if you are looking to hook up with someone? so here is an amazing offshoot of why I recommend NOT to start off meeting someone over the phone...I came across this Podcast on Current TV www.current.tv (for those who don't know what this is go to current.tv or tune in to channel 103 if you have timeWarner) presenting a website that was used to, well, talk to anyone you wish over the phone on the computer FOR FREE!! Its called skype.com and the story takes off like this?
A fine chap from London met a woman on this website and chatted with her ON THE PHONE (before meeting her of course) and sparked an amazing relationship for 2 months before even getting to meet her. Then hundreds of miles away another man from Rome also met a woman and started off the relationship in a similar manner, in which it blossomed into a hot and torrid affair for the length of 2 months!~~~NOW here is where I step in and state what is wrong with this picture: this was a 2 month phone affair that was going on without even meeting the person and anything and everything was spoken, the feelings, emotions you name it all shared through the deprivation of the other 4 senses... BUT THE STORY GETS EVEN BETTER!
The next step was meeting this woman so both men were elated meeting their most amazing dream girl, tall, 5?11?, blonde polish model with curves that even a german car may find hard to handle! They both hit it off, a beautiful night in ROME, exclusive night out in a members only nightclub in London, you name the ideal romantic night out and these men did it. They romanced their women the way any woman would want it?and what chemistry it was! But as the web that was woven began to tear, it seemed that suspicion of their women being not who they thought they were became quite evident. So the Italian decided to check his woman?s celly?s text msgs, and found another individual saying things to her like ?my bed is empty without you here, waiting for you? and other lustful and desirous messages the Italian man could not handle. He was heartbroken, creating this image of his ideal woman through a form of media that deprived the other 4 senses of judging her character, and what a mistake that turned out to be!
It had turned out that the Italian called the number of this other man that was on the girl's celly, who happened to be none other than~ THE BRIT! He confronted her on this and she denied everything. The story gets even juicier but I will leave it at this. The end result was that this woman had fallen in love with 2 men, played with their emotions and then left it at that. The Italian man was deeply hurt and the brit, well lets say that he still loved the woman and you will have to find out the rest by going to the website! This was just an example I wished to use to explain WHY it is so important to meet someone before you converse through other forms of media. There are exceptions to the rule and well, there are exceptions to the rule! This may have been a unique case but just be wary and cognizant of what is going on and you do not have to go through such a crazy situation that these ppl have gone through!

All of the girl's credentials are already confirmed (from a reliable third party). All you do is see the girl face to face (see if there is chemistry there), then you embark on forming a relationship. It's as easy as pie ;)
