Documentary on Islam/ New Muslims
Salaams,
I'm currently writing a documentary script and I'd like to talk to people based in North America who have recently converted to Islam, and those who are in the process of exploring Islam for spiritual salvation. I'm writing this proposal for a course and if it turns out well, I would like to get funding to film it. I think the Muslim community has dire need of indigenous filmmakers to combat anti-Islamism in the media. Please, if you have recently converted or are exploring Islam, or know of someone who has, do let me know. It will be a service to the Ummah.
Jazakallah,
Indyan Writer
PS - Please email me on Naseeb to get in touch. WaSalaam.
