Donations at local Masjids???

I have an old 21" monitor which I need to get rid off. Does anyone know if the local Masjids would even need something like this and do they give receipts like Salvation Army does?? I need to do this really soon so prompt replies would help. (I'm equally close to the Plano and Richardson masjid)

Are you close to a salvation army?

Thanks!! :) I said they were equally close not close... It's ok.. I'm just going to give it to Salvation Army or trash it.

My suggestion: walk down to your local masjids (you said you were close) and...ASK THEM!

LOL! I figured our masjids "here" would be a little more advanced. I've had friends donate stuff like this to a church so I figured I'd check out if it's a possibility to do so at a masjid.

why would the masjid need a monitor without a computer? why would you need a computer without a monitor? unless this is an effort by you to curtail your addiction to naseeb. in which case...you're nuts! "you can checkout any time you like...but you can never leave."

I guess Salvation Army it is then! :)
