you shouldn't have to pay for membership in order to interact in the villages...
the only reason i can see for them to restrict your use of the villages is because:
-the purpose for paying is to contact other people.
-villages can be used to contact other people.
so basically they think u should have to pay to use the villages.
but here's the deal -- if u r "connected" to someone, then u can see what they write, cuz supposedly you know that person in real life, or know someone in real life who knows them in real life, etc.
but many people are circumventing the restrictions by posting their information for people to add them to their circle of friends...
thus, my guess is the majority of people who are "friends" on this site dont really know each other in real life, which defeats the purpose of having the circle of friends! (which is, of course, to have people who can vouch for you).
if naseeb would treat us more like honest people, then we might be more inclined to ACT like honest people.
if you cant interact in the villages, u r less likely to use naseeb, and more likely to dislike naseeb which means u wont want to pay... so they are losing money.
if they are that concerned about losing memberships through the villages, the best solution i can think of is just to display the villages people belong to on their profiles only to paying members.
problem solved...
sorry, but its just one thing i really dont like about naseeb. ;)
oh ya, cuz everybody knows we awful naseebians pay membership fees, expand their user base, provide the large majority of their advertising free of charge by word of mouth, and in general increase the quality of their website...
why would they want to do US any favours???
they just want money is all... they will slowly take away our priveleges until we are offering up the last of our lunch money and signing over our first born's first born just so we can keep our precious villages alive, while in the meantime they try to catch us with cheap advertising, including at least one that promotes riba (home financing or some such)... will they stop at nothing??
wow tareq... how could u... and i thought it was bad when my 12 year old cousin called in a false fire alarm from the pay phone at the corner market down the street from my house.......
HAhahahahahaahahah.... we tortured poor Arsalan his whole life... surprisingly he turned out to be one of the more successful ones. He was class valedictorian and class president all his high school years. I think it is all because of us and our tortu-... i mean tough love.
Najla, you should have studied psychology! Your poor cousin could be your lab monkey (a proverbial humanzee!) and you'd be famous among all the military psychologists. When someone invents a new psychological interrogation method, they'd all say "Very interesting...it's just like that method that Dr. Najla published years ago....". Then you could put your pinky finger at the corner of your mouth and laugh maniacally along with your evil miniature twin, Najlitta!!!! Muahahahahahahahahahahaha );
well then Ladymoon, might I suggest investing in some noise-cancellation headphones ? Just think, every time your poor cousin hears an alarm clock, he thinks of the disaster that became his honeymoon!!! I'm sure if you leave right after the wedding party, and go somewhere far...really far...you'll spare yourself the same fate! Just leave your luggage in a secret place, or heck, send it ahead of you by FEDEX!!! HA!
one time we put arsalan (the same cousin i was talking about before) in the closet, but then the knob broke and we couldnt figure out how to get him out. and then he freaked out and was kicking the door and we had to call his mom (this was NOT that many years ago, we are all pretty old) at work and tell her what happened. lol. we are sooo normal.
lol isnt it?..however his cousin came up to me and was like "beware...ur turn is comming up very soon"...at which i gasped and said "you wouldnt"...and he smiled this evil smile...and then i told him i was innocent...and he said i was guilty by association!!... :* ...so god knows what im in for...lol
THANKS FOR THE IDEA LADYMOON!!! That's probably the most direct way to ensure that you'll never hear from that couple again!!! WHAT A MEAN THING TO DO! I LOVE IT!!! (H)
on the night of his cousin's wedding...my fiance got like 10 alarm clocks and set them 30 mins apart...ex...1:00 am, 1:30 am..2:00 am..u get the picture...they hid these alarm clocks all over the hotel room...so on his cousin's "suhaag raath"...the alarm clocks would keep going off..and they could not figure out where the hell they were...the whole night they were freaking out cuz everytime they tried to get cozy another alarm clock would go off...haha..i thought that was the best prank
