ducati had a launch party at black cat in dc for thier new sportclassic line... it was awesome. it was thier world wide release, i was stoked that it was in dc. brad pitt was supposedly there, i didn't see him. i don't know why my bands weren't asked to play it... next time i guess. good stuff though. i parked my bike right next to a lamborghini ( i kicked ones arse on west side highway once in ny. one of the few times i drove irresponsibly on a highway with cars.... but hey, how many times will i get to race a lambo in manhattan after a beautiful ride out to bear mtn.)

they event was planned pretty last minute. or at least the publicity of it. i found out a couple days before. hell black cat didn't know until 2 weeks ago.

as harDCore ducati as me and my friends are, we felt a bit out of place. we were the scrubs with no money who ride the hell out of our bikes. while everyone esle either rode very little or not at all, but had all nice new jackets and suits, and the girls (lots of models) just were way out of my price range too. don't worry though, we'll take over next time. i'll be a part of the planning.
