earthquake
salaam everyone,
its been a (long) while since i have logged onto naseeb and I just wanted to send my prayers, thoughts and concern for all who's family/loved ones are affected by the quake. My mom and grandmother were in srinigar for my cousin's wedding in august ( I was supposed to go but dang it, school was in the way), and arrived home by the Grace of God, just ONE week before the earthquake. Alhamdulilah no one I know is seriously hurt but obviously all are shaken up as I am sure you are all aware.
My sister is throwing a fundraiser here in vancouver on december 3 insha'Allah. Anyway, I just wanted to give a shout-out to all of you in solidarity. May Allah pour His healing Mercy on everyone in Kashmir.
