A Silent Art Auction has been organized for Wednesday Nov. 30th to raise funds for the Earthquake Victims in Pakistan. It will be at the SAW Gallery on 67 Nicholas Street, near University of Ottawa. Tickets are 5 dollars...it will be great if you can all come, but even if you can't then at the very least, buy a ticket because it is for a good cause. Its not just an event for Pakistanis....it will be really nice to see people from all all cultures there as well. I often feel that Muslims of different Nationalities don't help each other out enough. I sometimes feel that this earthquake that has hit Pakistan.....is just a problem that we Pakistani's have to deal with and other people don't care as much......that even the non-Muslims seem to care more than Muslims who are not Pakistani. Kheir.......don't get me wrong, I know that there are lots of people who are doing so much to help out, but it just doesn't seem enough. ANd that also goes for Pakistani's helping other Muslims and vice versa. WE need to start working as a unit......as the Ummah we are meant to be, Inshallah.
