Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005


Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room by his nephew and fellow WWE employee Chavo Guerrero in Minneapolis on sunday morning. Eddie Guerrero was scheduled to win the World Heavyweight Title in a Triple Threat match with fellow challenger Randy Orton and Champion Batista on sunday night at a television taping for the WWE Smackdown show. Latest news is the untimely death may have been caused by heart failure. Eddie was only 38 and is survived by his wife and three daughters!

Eddie Guerrero....1967-2005 R.I.P.

ammori: are you kidding me? forget the pills, he was on steroids. thats what caused his heart to stop. if you see the size difference from how he looked in pre-2000 and what he looked like over the last couple of years you can see he was roided up. also the spots on his back are a tell tale sign too. i reckon even though he'd been clean off other drugs and alcohol for awhile now, it was still too late. and the steroids just pushed him over.

I think that this guy was so charismatic although he lacked the good looks, he worked too hard to achieve his status, and I feel that the abuse of pain relieving pills that happened in his past caught up with him.

I like the tribute show and I was touched by wrsetlers like Big show, chris Benoit, and Kurt angle pouring emotions.
I still think that Chavo and HHH were faking the emotions, am I alone?

When I first heard of Eddie's death, I thought of the end of WrestleMania XX with Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit hugging, both men with titles that were long overdue.

it was funny a week b4 eddie's death there was a naseeb chatroom on aim and i started a wrestling topic and we were talkin bout dead wrestlers and in couple of days eddie passed away and we all freaked out. It was so odd and freaky well eddie i hope you RIP along wit gorilla monsoon, adrian adonis, junkyard dog, yokozuna, ravishing rick rude, curt henning mr. perfect, chris candido, crash holly, owen hart, davey boy smith british bulldog, brian pillman, ray traylor big bossman, road warrior hawk and other wrestler i missed

yeah. unfortunately in that society they ignore the drug abuse and its hardly ever adressed!

So many wrestler have struggled or are struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse.. it's sad yet expected.

its been confirmed by eddie's wife that it was heart failure that caused his death. eddie had just celebrated his 4 year anniversary of being off drugs and alcohol. gutted!

we just got a call tonight where my other sister found out that Eddie died when she was watching TV and immediately called home to see how we were dealign with the news.. we talked on the phoen for like 30 min just about eddie.

that's not a joke. im serious.

i first saw him in wcw 96/97. i liked him straight away. i love his heel character, its done so well. then he had that fued with his nephew chavo in wcw which made him one of my favourites. in the fued he played the bully to his nephew, it was a great storyline and carried off well by both stars. i'm gutted. was looking forward to him winning the title on sunday night too.
