Edward Said and Identity
peace
hope this note finds you all well
can anyone please point me to some of Said's conceptualizations of "Identity" --
i understand that this is quite a large issue --- i am new to Said's conceptualizations -- looking for some short concise material ...
the reference i am working out of currently is "identity is an inhibitor of thought esp national, religious identity" -- from the speech "Unresolved Geographies, Embattled Landscapes"
--any references or insights into Said's concept of 'Identity' would be greatly appreciated
thanks
peace out!
