Eid in San Diego.


Hello San Diegans.

According to my diary, this year, Eid ul fitr will fall on Wednesday November 4th.

How would you guys feel about having an Eid gathering at some point in that week? It's quite far ahead, but in principle, please give me your feedback.

Eid day will probably be reserved for family events... I think the weekend that follows would be best for most people to attend? I'll be hosting a party at my place for a few people in my local area iA. But, let me know how the SD party goes.

Last year they had great Falafel, and Beef/Chicken Shawermah so ppl let's plan to have lunch if you come on Sat, inshaAllah.
and for the girls, they had a lady who did Henna:)

Well I'm arriving in San D on Sept 24th so I'm up for any meet ups after that until Nov 13th when I leave.

I'd like very much to meet some of my American counterparts......

Could somebody who knows SD suggest a time and a place?
