har saal ki tarah
iss saal bhi jahaan ke
sab loog muntazir hain
kab chaand aan nikle
aur eid ka yaqiin ho
main bhii to aasmaan pe
wo chaand dhuunta huun
jo aa gaya nazar to
meri zamiin-e-dil par
kal eid ho rahe gii
