Election rules and VOTING thread

Ms Speaker and the honorable members of the house.

The rules are very clear: The minimum votes required for PMship is a simple Majority:

44+1 atleast!

Otherwise ... things continue at present...

I support Rozaiba's candidature. This vote number 1. Vote below.

does my vote still count? If so, I will have to place a vote for Rozaiba, because as of today, IAGC has joined the Coalition of Modernity ----- I just wanted to say though - Kevin is a top class dude, and I admired his campaigning ----- I hope he serves in a high position, as well

There needs to be a more organized method of voting....elections need to have a timetable...opinions can switch at any moment in time...I mean, you never know, Kevin may well find enlightenment and join LMP today. Then where will the race stand?

Rt Honourable Hamdani! I have empirical evidence that proves you are not :). One of my own friends, an MP, complained she couldn't read you. Even if you are connected to most, i believe you don't cover all in your circle, we should , therefore, let a premium member start this thread on elections and voting to ensure maximum response rate.

Rt Honorable fairytale, actually that is not true. I do have some connection or the other to most members of the parliament.

Hey Everyone: I just figured out the reason for the low response rate in the elections. This JE about voting should have been started by a premium member instead of Hamdani who doesnt seem to be a premium member and that's why most non premium members who are not in his circle cannot even see what this is all about.

Rt Honourable Kevin99: There are no such official rules. I am surprised that coalition members have petitioned the Supreme Court when the procedure would be to amend the existing rules of business.

To achieve a 45+ you will have to contact the 'sleeping' members of the parliament through a means other than naseeb. With the current activity rate of the parliament members, it's simply inachievable.

Ms Speaker: I suggest the elections continue indefinitely till a 45+1 is achieved. Those who wish to change the election rules should bring forth a bill amending the rules we all collectively decided on.

I think a 44+ majority is a tad hopeful, because we only have about 20 members who are regularly active... But Kevin99: Vote #3!

Kevin99: Vote #2
