Elections today in Egypt: 9/7

What...an important event like this in Egypt's history and no comments of any sort? *gasp* Why especially important you ask, well, it's because it's the first time there are other runners besides Mubarak. Don't take the aforementioned seriously though, because if you are following the scene, it all appears to be one pseudo-democratic-election and Mubarak is projected to win of course. Despite this unfortunate reality, it is an event worth mentioning nonetheless in our Egyptian village. And since we're on the topic...I'll say that I can't believe that Mubarak has the audacity to keep imposing himself on his people for that many years...whatever happened to integrity...shame...true leadership! But I guess the masses are okay with this,..in accordance with the famous saying, the people deserve their leaders :(

Anyone cares? lol.. );

Well..let's participate in our own polling here on naseeb. If you know enough about what's going on, who would you have voted for today?

The top 3 candidates amidst several are:
(p.s. if there was more time, I would have shared more info. on each).

1) Mubarak :* (watani, democratic, party)
2)Ayman Noor :# (alghad party)
3) No3man Gom3a #: (alwafd party)
4)None

*:

Just dropping by quickly to congratulate el sha3b 3ala Mubarak.... :*

I'm not convinced at all that Mubarak is good because "fahem Israel" :#....his relationship with Israel is a disgrace! A true leader would have stood up for our rights and priorities as Muslims, and not shake hands with them, as our brothers and sisters suffer living under horrible conditions and fall dead one after the other... el wa7ed bas hay2ool eh wala eh...

At any rate...let the egyptians enjoy him, as they voted for him willingly, so they'd better quit complaining about corruption of the regime...and the bad conditions...

w la 7awla wala qowata ella bellah...

if u asked me. lel 2asaf it's better if mubarak win. some of those who elect themselves are little bit "emotional" and u can realize it on their speech. Ayman noor half of his talks is good, and the other half is "beta3 kalam". one of the sentence he said "deh el kods deh fee 3enee we fee albi we roo7ee ... etc" = it's a sign of EXAGGERATION. Mubarak has 3oyoob we can't deny it but also he has good relations with many leaders in the words and fahem Isreal.

Ayman Noor. His name is Ayman and that's genius ;). He wants to have coalition party and that gives me a chance. these are the two top reason. Can't vote for No3am gom3a. When he was the Dean of the law school, he was mean to my friends :P lol.

As for me...I'm not sure which is best...to not participate in this silliness they call real elections...or to vote for someone else who is not great either, but just to take a vote away from Mubarak...hmmm.... );
