England in Pakistan.

Big series for Pakistan as well as England after winning the Ashes series for the first time in 18 years. Pakistan better have their "A" game for this series. I don't think Pakistan can win the test series (might be a draw), but will win the ODI series.

Any thoughts on this?

Inzi is awesome the best captain we have had since Imran Khan. The way we kept our composure after loseing those early wickets was amazing.

inzi is awesome but what worries me is his physical conditioning. he had to have a runner near the end and couldn't take the field during england's response. i read somewhere that his fielding practice consists of him moving from one slip position to the next and he is the only one exempt from any strenuous exercise. under these conditions, do you think he can make it through to the world cup?

He is a fantastic cricketer. And yeah... He should do something about running between the wickets.

muhammad80: i agree, his running is annoying. it's obviously a problem he has had since forever and it's something that woolmer should help fix. it almost looks like those one or two steps after each hit are a part of his stroke and that for a few milliseconds he becomes oblivious to everything except looking at how well he hit the ball.

Pakistan beat England 2-0, thats amazing. England were talking about whitewashing Pakistan 3-0 at the beginning of the series ;)

Well the way our team played we deserved a win. It was kind of disappointing that such an exciting (and controversial!) match ended in a draw.
Well we'll definitely miss Afridi in the 3rd test and 2 ODI's. He's such an exciting player. But Pakistan is such a talented team they can win even without the stars...
Well let's hope for the best. At least Pakistan cannot lose this series!

Yes great first day of the second match. And Afridi was as spectacular as always. I almost forgot it was a test match! Maybe Afridi forgot that too :)
There were a few scares at the end of the day but thank God both Inzi and Afridi retained their wickets. I hope Pak crush England...
England team doesn't look half as good as it did in the Ashes.

pleasant surprise, sure was. I just hope England lose both the test and one day series so that their bubble bursts.

Well we are 1-0 up in the series. England were ambushed in Multan. Brilliant win for Pakistan cricket. Roll on to Faislabad.

At the end of third day, Pakistan still has a chance to come back and win or atleast draw the first test against England. Hats off to the young lad Salman Butt for facing the new ball really well and making second consecutive 50. I think Shoaib Malik should be a little bit more careful in his shot selection and same goes for Younis Khan, who got out at 48. Pakistan is trailing by 19 runs and have 8 wickets in hand. The way I see it, a big support from Yousuf and Inzy (80 to 100 each), while decent scores from Hasan Raza and Kamran Akmal (around 40 or 50 each) are required to give a decent score to defend against England good batting line up.
The KEY tomorrow will be that PAKISTAN BAT THE WHOLE FOURTH DAY, OR THEY KISS GOODBYE THE FIRST TEST.

That's true. Inshallah, they'll pull this off.

England lost to SA A but beat their main team. So, England will be a different team in the tests. But we would love to see Pakistan beat England.

But those green tops are no where to be found in Pakistan. Most likely, Pakistan will have spinning wicket for the series. ODI's, Pakistan should take from England as they are a better ODI team than a test squad.

Although England are ranked higher in test rankings compared to one day rankings.
Pakistan might have a better chance in the test series. If they give the England team green tops for the practice 3 day matches and then have spin friendly pitches for the test matches.
