?words? are Quranic Ayats which Bulleh Shah Sarkar often uses through out his poetry. Sometimes half the Kaafi is in Arabic in the form of Quranic Ayats and Its highlights Bulleh Shah?s mastery of the Quran. The unique way he blends Arabic and Punjabi produces spectacular imagery and depth of meaning.

The three words here mean"Dumb, deaf, and blind"
Ayat in Quran is about the cursed nation, but Bulleh shah has used the words when refering to the state of a Sufi, where one willfully ceases to exist, and is united with God.
This state is achieved,or rather bestowed upon you when one detatches oneself from the "sensory" world.
