Ephedra


What do you think of ephedra? and do you think it should come back on the market?

Barely any supplements are approved by the FDA!! Also in regards to the deaths of those athletes, 2 out of the 3 were already in a situation where they shouldn't even have touched the stuff. The pitcher, whose name I can not remember, was in spring training and had a fever already. Very smart of him to pop some ephedra in his situation. Also let's look at Stringer....weighing around 335 pounds if I recall correctly. He was also in training camp and it was also very humid/hot that day. Very smart of him to take some ephedra on a day like that when his body is already taking a beating from the heat. Good job guys!!

I seriously doubt this stuff will come back onto the market. A couple of idiots use it the wrong way at the wrong time and it's gone...thanks guys! Before you put something in your body, PLEASE read about it!! It does however help me when I do go on it...gonna be starting next week!!

I figured you would have read the other posts about the medicine, anyhow here is some info on Ephedra: In the United States, ephedra and ephedrine are sold in health food stores under a variety of brand names. Ephedrine is widely used for weight loss, as an energy booster, and to enhance athletic performance. These products often contain other stimulants, such as caffeine, which may have synergistic effects and increase the potential for adverse effects. Ephedra is often touted as the "herbal fen-phen."

aww see I remember when they were taking it off the market in summer of 2003 - at that point I was in such great shape I figured I didn't need it :( lol ahh man hopefully I can find it in Mexico

Afgpartychic: Right before the ban took place I bought enough to last me along time. I also tried Xenadrine but i didnt like it as much as Diet Fuel and Ripped Fuel. I havent found a plce where you can get it now, im just using what i have left dont know what i will do when i run out.
They say that a judge ruled that it may come back to the market. Lets see hope it does.

I used to take Diet Fuel as a replacement (the shake) and I used to take Xenadrine. They took both off the market, if anyone knows where I can get both with Ephedra I will pay for it and shipping etc. I am going to San Diego next weekend and my sister wants to take a trip to Mexico, I might try to find it there but if not Sophia you have to fill me in on where you get yours

Afgpartychic : what ephedra product do you use currently or have used in the past?

Im taking Diet Fuel and it has helped me a lot.

Yah - you have to up your dosage on water. I normally drink 70-90 oz. of water, with ephedra I was drink up to 100 - 120 oz. of water. I never blacked out and have had no known problems to date....

Is it coming back on the market? To be honest with you all - I actually took it and so did my sisters - we all saw great results and have kept the weight off. I actually took it before I would go work out and my doctor knew I was taking it. I think some people take these drugs without realizing what they are putting in their bodies. Take the cases where people had heart attacks - they were all unfit people. Either old or out of shape people were assuming this was a "fat killing pill" - that it was but you had to control intake, and monitor your system. With all drugs come different reactions and if this comes back in the market I would buy it.
