Dont regret it. There is soo much time where you can still know that part. Alhumdulillah you are Ethiopian. Fellow abesha! Tenastalin! If you ever feel like knowing more or just talking about our home town let me know

I didn't forget it, I never learned it. I think that is something I really regret my dad did not pass on to me. I'm hoping when he goes back, I will finally get to know that part of me.

There is so much more. Ethiopia is a place where you see the life of a villager to a life of a tycoon. The best thing about this place...The purity of a native's hospitality. I lived there for most of my childhood and i would not take it back for anything.

from an *ancient* historical perspective ethiopia was one of the most significant countries in the world--if you've forgotten your history just do a search on "ancient ethiopia." now i suspect it's great merely for the exotic ecology, hospitality of its people, highly desi-friendly food, and for the lessons it teaches about the real value of things (you cannot be surrounded by so much crushing poverty without it reworking some part of your soul).

I would love to go there one day!!!!! However, is poverty the only thing they have there????? Is there anything else that makes it a place to visit??
