"Transcending Fundamentalism

On May 11th, from 2:00-4:00PM California State
University -Northridge will host a lecture and
discussion entitled "Transcending Fundamentalism"
Two women from opposite sides of the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict discuss the challenges
and the struggles to find a common understanding.
Sharihan Abdel-Rahman is currently an exchange student
at Westlake High School. An Arab-Muslim teenager with
Israeli Citizenship, Sharihan first came to the US as
part of Seeds of Peace?.
Rebecca Tobias, originally of Cuban Jewish descent, is
both an exchange student host for Sharihan and the
Southern California Outreach Director for Interfaith
Encounters.
The Event will be open to the public from 2-4pm at the
Flintridge Room of the University Student Union at
California State University Northridge.
The Flintridge Room of the USU can best be accessed
from Zelzah Street adjacent to student lot
