Ever wondered...

...when you're right, no one remembers. But when you're wrong, no one forgets! *sigh*

Write that one down.

I suppose I'm in one of those moods, a blanket of melancholia has overcome me.

My silent nights are getting unbearably louder.

I need my bong!

But then I realise, I don't own a bong *one big exasperated sigh*

Actually I'm okay... where was I... oh yeah: People! Bloody people! There's WAY too many of them. And each with their own individual personality, uniquely molded by whatever nonsense they've been subjected to, over the course of their relatively pathetic lives. How can one emotionally cater to all? I just can't keep up, it's near to impossible. I'm morphing into a social chameloen, a different colour for every different character I have the misfortune to meet (though I personally prefer being blue). A great reason for being apathetic, I suppose.

As you can tell by my blithesome commentary, not only do I not have a bong, I also have no cocaine! Nor any relevant fungi. Oh, for the briefest of moments, I want to lose myself into a chemically induced euphoria. Even for a minute, where I don't have to give a shit... about anything.

"You have a problem? Something's pissing you off? So what? Oh okay! Tell me alllllll about it... but join the queue first. And I'm handing out only one tissue per sob story, because I only have a limited amount".

So remember, if the rigmarole of life (in whatever society you've established a niche in) gets to you, always find solace in the fact that you made it as a sperm-cell.

I'm sorry. Where ARE my manners. You were saying...?

*ConfusedFella is lingering by the doorway, with one foot on the outside, and he's ready. Just waiting for an excuse...*

What the hell is that girl in the ipod commercial doing? surely thats not dancig is it?

it looks like she's got Sydhams Chorea.... (aka st. Vitcus' dance... which, i guess would qualify it as a dance of sorts....)

seriously though, someone should investigate the ipod advertises too see what poor person they forced into the arm flinging actions that they apparently motion captured for the clip....

her arm looks like it's flopping about as though her nervous system has been subverted....

why don't they just use sex to sell their ipod like every other self respecting advertiser?

the reason muslims and extremism often tend to go hand in hand is that there are usually good reasons behind it. the media don't look for muslims doing good works - good news generally makes very bad copy. unless it involves children or pregnant women that is.

imagine if you were white, xtian or athiest and otherwise you had the same job, level of education etc. what would you feel about muslims? if all you had to go by was the media?

You need to listen to some Leave Me Alone music

I recommend The Killers - Hot Fuss :)

when i said extremism i made sure to point out what defintion i thought it to be (blowing yourself up and/or killing innocent civilians). You might have your own interpretation, that's fine. we all have our own opinions. The extremism i was referring to is straight from the dictionary dictionary.com) "One who advocates or resorts to measures beyond the norm, especially in politics". ofcourse there are other kinds of dictionaries out there that might give lil deviaitons from the definition given above, but i don't think by much. now maybe your definition of norm might be different than mine. So, perhaps there lies the problem...

IMHO extremism is wrong word to describe these acts. Even if you practice extremism (which is forbidden in the first place), Islam won't lead you to killing other innocent people. Rather it is either Ignorance or Deviance from the right path.

there's a defeatism attitude in the middle east. lack of compassion and feeling of helplessness. i think it's the duty of all non-extreme( extreme as in blowing yourself up and/or killing innocent civilians kindof extreme) muslim brothers and sisters to help enlighten our fellow muslims who never had the opportunities most of us on naseeb.com have had for example. we should all help in whatever way we can. it's our calling. inshallah things will get better soon.

Idea is to use Islam and Muslims in every negative context possible even if there is no linkage. Subtle brain wash is the name of the game.

so what has the british news been saying about the perpetrators of this? american news is so bogus cuz we only hear islamic terrorists as the cause of anything. i'd heard from someone that it could be possible revenge for the UK winning the bid for hosting the olympics or something. if it is in fact terrorism, what would be the motive against the UK instead of the US?

i think it's beginning to sink in. yesterday was spent trying to find out what was happening, sending emails adn texts to make sure everyone was ok and getting on the phone to make sure everyone was ok.

today was very different.

i woke up this morning knowing that something really horrible had happened but i couldnt remember what it was. because even in my imagination i just didnt think it was going to be this. and then i remembered. it's so desperately sad. and there are still people missing - makes me feel sick

there's no sense in it Raheel. it's random. it's desgined for effect/shock/terror/fear. that is the extent of the thinking.

Okay, so one explosion was underneath me news.bbc.co.uk), and the other was less than 100m away from me ... and I still can't comprehend the gravity of the situation.

Shazia: Strangely, No. I think the whole ordeal has yet to sink in ... I mean I was in explosion-central, between Russell Sq Stn. AND Woburn Place ... The number of road blocks and police persons, police barriers was just too much ... Also: My QMW undergrad. supervisor (Bob) is married to a Professor in my BBK dept. (Bonnie), hence my transition from QMW -> BBK. They live in a flat in Upper Wooburm street, next to the BMA. The bus blew up outside their groundfloor flat, 15 mintues after Bonnie left. Bob was still at home. He was not allowed to leave, she was not allowed to enter back, for the whole day ...
