Very enlightening and informative. It covers a wide array of topics, much more than just the fast food industry. Rich in history as well. Provides insight and analysis for many issues we don't even stop to think about, whether it be on the political, social, psychological, economic, physiological, or global level.

Great Ramadan book :P. Will kill any semblance of an appetite.

Oops, my bad! I remembered that from April, but didn't know the situation had been updated... Thanks for that, AmnaBanana :) What a sick trick!

Thanks for the suggestions and the comments. Ramadan Mubarak!

I LOVED Fast Food Nation! It tells you so much about gimmicks and "pester power" too... Speaking of fast food, the disgusted Wendy's customer who found a human finger in her bowl of chilli has just been awarded $100,000 P:

yeah there seems to have been a surge of these books out quite recently. no logo by naomi klein is the same. try any john pilger (distant voices was my favourite) - you might like that.
