Yes I know the hadits, I think it will be really selfish to leave it to that and let the wrong be happen. Especially when we come to social matters we face this problem, people just dont listen...... and if we want the things to change around us and want them to be done in an Islamic way or in a sanely manner..... someone has to step up and tell them that the some traditions are not islamic rather just an inheretence of a unjust culture.
Mkhan I put this article up as the very same question was on my mind.
Isnt there a hadees that...when you see someone doing wrong stop them with your hand, if nnot do it verbally and if cant do that as well consider it bad in your heart and thats the lowest darja(level) of iman.
And wouldnt it be selfish to not correct someone who is knowingly or unknowingly doing wrong? specially when its somone close to you. But if you try, people think you are being judgemental/critical/superior. I myself would like constructive criticism........or so i think :)
Thanks for the kind words, I have a question in mind ! some time you dont find faults in people but you simply know that in any matter some one might be doing something worng. You know it..... and point it out.
But sometime people are so stubern in acknowledging their own mistakes that they dont listen and acuse you of being the fault finder.... !
What can be done in this case and how this matter can be treated.. is it better to leave those people at what they are doing or should we try to correct them !
just an open question .. ! if any one has any input ...?
